Karin Rule
Chief Academic Officer
Karin has over 15 years’ experience in senior education roles, primarily in the vocation, education and training (VET) sector in state, national and international Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). With a passion for adult education and life-long learning Karin’s focus is to provide transformational leadership to achieve organisational goals, promote equal access to education, improve the student’s learning experience and ensure job-ready graduates. Karin has successfully contributed to the establishment and maintenance of strategic long-term business plans and industry relationships which has resulted in the growth of existing and new business opportunities.



Background
With a discipline background of health and community services Karin maintains her industry currency through co-facilitating international student work placement projects and holding a variety of voluntary positions as a board member and advisor for national not-for-profit community-based organisations and charities.
Karin, with extensive experience in learning and assessment development, regularly authors and reviews text books for educational publishers such as McGraw-Hill and Cengage. Her expertise has been acknowledged through organisational awards for excellence, invitations to present at conferences and participation in national Industry Reference Groups.
Karin holds a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Social Science, Graduate Diploma of Vocation Education and Training, Diploma of Enrolled Nursing and the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In addition, Karin’s professional activities include being a preceptor for Charles Sturt University, an Accredited Facilitator for Situational Leadership and a Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner.
