Understanding the application process
This page will give you the information you need to help you prepare for your application to Pacific training Group, and to make the most of your time with us as a student.
How to Apply:
|Before you get started its important that you’ve read our International Student Handbook and all the information on our website. You’ll also want to learn about the Australian student visa program including your eligibility status and how to apply, at www.homeaffairs.gov.au|
|Step 1||Submit your completed Application for Admission form to [email protected] with a copy of your passport,|
academic qualifications and evidence of your English language proficiency.
|Step 2||Pacific Training Group will assess your application and issue you with a Letter of Offer/Student Agreement.|
|Step 3||Read and sign the Letter of Offer/Student Agreement and return to Pacific Training Group.|
|Step 4||Make payment by bank transfer and send a copy of your payment receipt to Pacific Training Group.|
Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS payments are also accepted.
|Step 5||You are now ready to apply for your student visa through our expert Migration agent partner. Once approved, Pacific Training Group will then issue you your COE. To assist you with your application, Pacific Training Group has a global network of agents which recruit students on its behalf. Contact us for agents.|
Minimum 18 years
Completion of at least 11 years of formal schooling
• A year 11 school leaving certificate
Alternative entry: Students who do not meet the above requirement may gain entry via an admission interview with the Academic Director (or delegate) to demonstrate that they have an aptitude for regimented training in their nominated course of study.
An upper-intermediate level of English or higher
English Test: Test results must be no more than two years old. This must be provided unless exempted for visa application purposes with the Department of Home Affairs.
• An IELTS certificate showing a score of 5.5 or higher
PTG Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment: Students who do not have formal evidence of their English proficiency will undertake an PTG LLN Assessment, which is conducted during enrolment assessment.
Laptop computer to access the online learning platform
|Students need to supply their own laptop to participate in training and assessment in class and online.|
The laptop needs to be 5 years old or newer, and be equipped with the following minimum requirements:
Students need to be aware that they need access to the internet to conduct any online learning outside of campus. Internet Speed needs to be a minimum of 512kbps.
