My timetable mentioned two sessions. Seminar and Tutorial. What does this mean?
Seminar sessions are when the trainer follows the lesson plan and teaches the unit accordingly.
Tutorial sessions are during which the trainer will be available for all of your questions. During these sessions, the students can ask questions and the teaching will take place based on the needs and questions of the students. Attendance at both sessions is compulsory and adds to your overall attendance percentage.
I attend the seminar sessions every week (compulsory session confirmed by trainers) but I still get the attendance follow up letter, is this going to affect my course progression?
Both sessions count towards your overall attendance. If you are reviving the follow up letters, kindly respond to the email and our team will assist you accordingly.
Can I change my second course that my COE is packaged with?
Yes. You can make a request to change your course and if approved by the Academic Department you can make the change.
What is the timeframe of changing my initial course once I start?
Once you start your course, you can make the change request at any time. If approved, the change will be in action starting from the next upcoming block (there is a new block every 5 weeks).
Why are some of my classmates completing their courses at different dates than me?
Students are joining course each five (5) weeks (academic block) and it is possible that you will have joined classes with students from a different stream.
