Pacific Training Group is proud to announce that we’ve partnered with Sunshine Coast International College (SCIC) to offer online program delivery and online capability development, including further education pathways.
SCIC is a leading CRICOS-registered English Language course provider based in Sydney, Australia and the only Australian member school of the prestigious global “Quality English” Association. They offer a range of English proficiency courses to prepare international students for further education opportunities. Not only that, but they also have an incredible 96% student satisfaction rate, so we’re confident you’ll enjoy studying with them.

With this partnership, non-English speaking students will be able to work on their English language skills either on-campus in Australia or online from anywhere in the world before progressing to any of our vocational online or blended courses.
Some courses even count as course credits and could allow students to enrol in second year university!
In other words, through this partnership we train students to become great communicators and also prepare them for the future of work by providing them utmost flexibility.
We’re so excited because SCIC brings as much energy to learning as we do, and we believe in working with reputable organisations whose objectives align with ours.
So, starting from April 2021, students will be able to access the popular SCIC General English Course via an online portal. The course caters to people with ‘Pre-Intermediate’ and ‘Intermediate’ levels of English and each level is 10 weeks minimum.
The course is perfect for offshore students who want to:
- Come to Australia to study
- Study English online to advance their career
- Learn English out of personal interest
- Study English combined with a Pacific Training Group Diploma
How can this partnership benefit you?
Step 1: Learn or Improve Your English
Studying is always challenging. Studying in a second language is even more challenging. Most higher institutions of learning in Australia require a certain level of English from international students to make sure the students will be able to cope with English instruction. It also means students will be able to communicate fluently with their tutors and develop relationships with their peers.
Here at Pacific Training Group, we like to make sure our students have the best chance of success, so we have a similar requirement. To register for any of our courses, you’d have to meet our English requirements which is basically an upper-intermediate level of English or higher. With this new partnership, you can start your English studies and move straight on to your other studies all in one convenient place.
Step 2: Complete a Vocational Course with Us
Taking the English course and passing the test is great, but the more exciting part comes next: completing one of our vocational courses.
We have plenty of in-person and online courses. Subjects range from Hospitality, Leadership & Management, Event Management, and Social Media Marketing, to Applied Blockchain, Project Management and Cybersecurity & IT.
That being said, it’s important you know that we’re nationally recognised and our graduates have a high employability rate in the job market.
Over the years, we’ve established ourselves as the leading voice in Australia’s online education space through persistent hard work. We always strive to attract the best talent and tools. Our learning technologies are top-notch; they assist in making education both effective and fun. In addition, we have expert trainers that are friendly, helpful and have the best interest of our students at heart.
So, rest assured, you’re in safe hands.
Step 3: Proceed to Second Year in University with Our University Pathway
You’ve taken the SCIC facilitated General English Course.
You’ve also completed your choice of online course with us.
What next?
If you’re interested in continuing your education, we’ve created collaborative pathways to help our graduates head straight to second year uni! For some courses, universities recognise the course credits and allow successful graduates entry into second year.
One such collaborations is the one we have with the highly-regarded Southern Cross University.
As you can see, we don’t just train students and then leave them hanging. We go the extra mile to make sure you’re educated and equipped for whatever you want to achieve.
