Pacific Training Group Partners with EC Council to Provide Certifications to Students

With individuals and businesses being more and more dependent on information technology systems, it is no surprise that an increase in cyber attacks will come as a result. As these systems get more complicated and as more information is stored online, these attacks have become more intricate, crippling websites for days or months on end and even resulting in massive security breaches that compromise personal and financial information.

Fortunately, there are ways to improve processes to combat these crimes and Pacific Training Group (PTG) is proud to announce that we have now partnered with EC Council, the global authority in cyber security.

EC Council started off as a response to the September 11 attacks on the United States in 2001 with the goal of certifying cyber security professionals, or “White Hats” in programs like the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), Certified Penetration Testing Professional (CPENT) /Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) Master. Through these certifications, not only did organisations level the playing field against threats to IT systems, they have taken the upper hand by continuously working with organisations to improve cyber security practices and sharing the information they learned from this to the global community.
