How did you learn about PTG?
During the early days of the year 2017, my immigration agent, Alex Markovski, planned the whole thing for me. He guided me with the length of my stay and which course I should take to move forward with my goals. He recommended Pacific Training Group.
What made you choose PTG?
I chose Pacific Training Group because of the packaged certificate and advanced diploma courses they offered. The courses were suitable for my plans at the time. The subjects within these courses covered the knowledge and skills I needed. I had extensive experience in the hospitality industry. However, I needed to learn more about events management. I wanted to upgrade, improve my knowledge, and build a solid resume – with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from my country, an international diploma was a plus point.

Share your best experience with PTG trainers and staff.
I only had positive experiences with PTG staff and trainers. They were always ready to help, very approachable, and ready to listen. It’s easy to talk to anyone of them. Mostly, I communicated with Richard, he’s such a nice guy, he would listen to my issues and problems, and was always happy to assist. I have been in contact with Lakesh, he is very cooperative, and I find it easy to speak with him. I also had fun time during classes with my co-trainee Mamita and my trainer, Fran, who was exceptionally approachable. I had some email communications with some other staff members, and they always did respond quickly.
How do you apply the skills you learned form your course to your current role?
I’d like to say that education is 25% theory and 75% application. With constant practice of what I learned, I gained knowledge each time. Education has given me a good foundation in this industry. I have successfully applied a lot of things I learned from the diploma course to different the branches of the events industry. I got involved in expos, music festivals, conferences, and many others. I believe that everything I’ve learned from my diploma course is relevant to everything I will do soon.
