Anthony's Story
What made you choose Pacific Training Group?
I chose Pacific Training Group through the recommendation of my agent.
What did you like most about the school?
I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere as well as the ease to talk with teachers. Teachers and staff are very down to earth and are happy to make conversations both about school or about life in general.

Share your best experience with Pacific Training Group’s trainers and staff.
George has been a fantastic teacher. He is very complete in his teaching and his interactive method allows for a lot of absorption and retention of the knowledge provided. All trainers and staff have been very welcoming and accommodating. They all provided a great learning and growth environment.
As I continued my studies with Pacific Training Group, I met George as the teacher in the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. This is where a great friendship and deep mutual respect was born.
George has all the skills and knowledge of an excellent teacher and is an expert in his sector. His many years of working with people and managing them reflects in his ability to adequately communicate with all students on their own level.
What really sets George apart for me is that he is not only a teacher, but also a mentor. Often, we would find ourselves discussing practical situations from our respective positions. This would allow me to get a fresh look at the situation and help me, both with my studies and with my job.
We would also often find ourselves discussing business ideas, finances, or the stock market. George has motivated me to be more interested in the financial part of my life, and it has greatly improved during my time with PTG.
Besides being a great teacher, George is also an amazing person! Often, we would find ourselves joking and talking about our personal lives. I genuinely believe that George was the best possible person to teach me during the last year and a half and I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate him and what he taught me. Next time I will be in Sydney, I will definitely catch up with you! Thank You, George!
How do you apply the skills you learned from your course to your current role?
Throughout my courses I have learned a lot of technical knowledge that has been handy in my current and previous roles both as manager and as staff. Practical skill wise I learned a lot during the internship in the previous course and have been able to build onto that with new knowledge from this course.
Any advice for students who also want to work while studying?
Keep your resume to one page. Print as many resumes as you can, and more. Dress and groom ready to start working. Hand out as many resumes as possible. Always ask to see someone about vacancies, so you can talk straight to the hiring manager. Practice a three plate carry at home (look it up on the internet).
Be flexible and work smart/hard. Always look busy. Good luck!
